Going into 2010, I had big plans. Going into 2011, I have even bigger plans.
These are some of my favorite moments from this last year. Here’s to capturing even more.

{personal} sisters
I was lucky enough to shoot a wedding in beautiful Sisters, OR this week (more on that soon!). These are some images taken on the way back home.
{wedding} garrett + amy
It seems like ages ago when I second shot this wedding with the wonderful Kacy Kizer. And that’s because it was ages ago back in a dream called summer.
No babies consumed alcohol in the making of this photograph.

Self portrait Friday turned into Self Portrait Weekend. But here’s a sneak peek on what’s going on with me and my tripod right now.
And a hint about who I might be dressing up as.
{personal} los angeles through a couple of windows
Before I lived in Corvallis, I lived in Los Angeles.
Yes, I am that person that finds smog and a concrete river kind of endearing and revels in the overwhelming amount of people and traffic. And sun in December??? And Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles? I’m not sure if anything is better than that.
L.A., it’s been too...
{portraits} a few things you can do with powdered paint
You know how sometimes you post one half of a shoot that involved some fly kicks and lovely ladies…and totally plan on posting the other half? And then a swarm of senior sessions happen and suddenly the McBlog is flooded by the Class of 2011? And then after the swarm dies down…you forget to post...

{family} the lewis family
The Lewis family are so stinkin’ cute. I absolutely loved photographing their incredible energy and love.
{engagement} kevin + laura
Laura + Kevin win the award for Best Cuddlers. They’re also really great at pretending like they’re not freezing on a cold November evening and looking adorable while doing it. Props.
{family} the anderson siblings
Once upon a time two really cool people did a really cool thing and managed to get an old piano to a grassy hill (with the manual labor help of friends, of course).
These two really cool people happened to be brother & sister.
