welcome.

When I was ten years old, I liked to run around my Los Angeles neighborhood with a disposable camera on a wildlife photography expedition (i.e. taking pictures of cats). While I've strayed away from cat photography and disposable cameras, that adventure and excitement has never left. I'm ecstatic to say that my camera and I still go on expeditions of our own -- sometimes in my own backyard and sometimes far away.

Born and raised primarily in Los Angeles with a wonderful stint in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently pursuing a BFA in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Available for work in Southern California, Oregon and abroad.

This year I’ve been blessed enough to shoot two weddings this summer. For those of you who have been following the McBlog for a while know that last summer I shot  my first wedding. It was such an exciting day to be a part of and I fell in love with it entirely. While I’ve known I wanted to be a photographer for a long time, last summer proved to me that I want to be a wedding photographer one day. And so when I was hired for these next two weddings…I can honestly say that when I found out I literally did a happy dance. And did the slow motion run to Chariots of Fire. I AM SO HAPPY. On top of that, both of my wedding clients were referrals from McBlog readers just like you who referred me to their sisters…who just happened to be getting married. This is just further proof of what I tell everyone who asks me how I’ve been able to continue getting steady work when my business (and I’m) so young — my community of McReaders and McClients are the best people this world has to offer. 99% of my business is referral-based meaning I get all of my new clients thanks to the old ones and from those loyal McReaders that I love so dearly. I cannot thank this group of people enough for how much they’ve done for me by simply telling someone about my work. Have I told you lately that I love you guys?
