{portland family photographer} – The Lee’s

As an Oregon photographer, there’s maybe nothing more frustrating than trying to work a photoshoot around the erratic rain. I know that some Pacific Northwest photographers can rock it out in the rain but I spent the majority of my childhood in Southern California and do. not. like. the. rain. The weather lately — while kind of crazy and unexpected — has been INCREDIBLE! There’s nothing quite like Oregon on a beautiful day. The weekend I met with the Lee family was one of the first days with gorgeous sun! We met in the Pearl District and adventured around a little bit. Poor little Parker was running a fever so we kept things short — part II from our second session coming soon!

Side note: how do we feel about the new blog watermarks/logos?

March 3, 2010 - 9:16 pm Jenna - Loving the on the shoulder pictures and the last one. ALSO loving the yellow ball/balloon prop. Really ties it all together, as I'm sure your prestigious art school has taught you. Watermark/logo is really nice. It doesn't mess with the image which I like. Will the color change depending on the session? Or is yellow your new thing? Good work girlie.

March 4, 2010 - 2:18 pm Brielle - Thanks Noga and Juliet! I really appreciate your faithful commenting : ) And Jenna, my overall brand colors are yellow, red, grey and kind of dark turqouise-blue. So I guess they could theoretically switch through those colors for the watermark? But I definitely like the way these look right now and I'm glad you like them!
