welcome.

When I was ten years old, I liked to run around my Los Angeles neighborhood with a disposable camera on a wildlife photography expedition (i.e. taking pictures of cats). While I've strayed away from cat photography and disposable cameras, that adventure and excitement has never left. I'm ecstatic to say that my camera and I still go on expeditions of our own -- sometimes in my own backyard and sometimes far away.

Born and raised primarily in Los Angeles with a wonderful stint in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently pursuing a BFA in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Available for work in Southern California, Oregon and abroad.

{personal} self portrait friday #9

This week has been busy. Excessively busy. And by excessively busy I mean waking-up-at-6:30-am-and-I-have-no-time-to-think-until-I-finally-make-it-to-bed-at-11:30 busy.

I hate being busy because busy almost always goes hand-in-hand with being constantly tired.

But being busy means I’ve been blessed with enough work to take up all of my time and then some. Therefore, I hereby REFUSE to complain about being busy : )

I spent a lot of time in the darkroom this week. Even though I had a project deadline to stress about, the darkroom just instantly takes that all away. Any other film photographers out there who are obsessed with the therapeutic qualities of the darkroom?
