Today’s self portrait is a little different because it’s less about me and more about 1/2 of my DNA.
I’m going to start by saying my mother is going to kill me for posting these. But I think my future suffering will be worth it : )
My mother is without a doubt the most incredible force in my life.
She is a daredevil and a caretaker all at the same time.
She has put up with all of my crazy antics and has somehow managed to keep on loving me.
She always knows what to do in any and every situation.
And even though she makes fun of Tyra Banks’ large forehead, I still think Tyra would dub my mother “fierce”. Because she is fierce.
Thank you for everything you’ve done for me these past eighteen years, Mom. I love you to the moon and back.
