When I was ten years old, I liked to run around my Los Angeles neighborhood with a disposable camera on a wildlife photography expedition (i.e. taking pictures of cats). While I've strayed away from cat photography and disposable cameras, that adventure and excitement has never left. I'm ecstatic to say that my camera and I still go on expeditions of our own -- sometimes in my own backyard and sometimes far away.


Born and raised primarily in Los Angeles with a wonderful stint in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently pursuing a BFA in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Available for work in Southern California, Oregon and abroad. 

{portrait} modern dance girls {part one}

Recently, I had the honor of photographing the ladies of the advance class from Donna Blatt-Ervin’s Modern Dance Technique program here in Corvallis not once but TWICE! For the first one, we went out and did a series of portraits and for the second, I observed one of their classes with Donna. Below are the images of the second shoot. I love how intimate they feel, just a simple documentation of something these girls do almost every day and have done in this very room for years.

Oh and insert a shameless plug for what is going to be a beautiful program, the 19th Annual Spring Celebration of Dance at the Majestic Theater from June 11-13th featuring the lovely ladies in this post and even more wonderful dancers.
