welcome.

When I was ten years old, I liked to run around my Los Angeles neighborhood with a disposable camera on a wildlife photography expedition (i.e. taking pictures of cats). While I've strayed away from cat photography and disposable cameras, that adventure and excitement has never left. I'm ecstatic to say that my camera and I still go on expeditions of our own -- sometimes in my own backyard and sometimes far away.

Born and raised primarily in Los Angeles with a wonderful stint in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently pursuing a BFA in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Available for work in Southern California, Oregon and abroad.

First things first, I’m blogging this week over at www.switchfocusblog.com! {class of 2011} amy

I had an incredible time with Amy as we ventured around Corvallis talking about her poetry, relationships and walking (Amy loves to take long walks — and by long I mean SIX HOURS. Incredible). Amy kept me laughing the entire time and was kind enough not to make fun of my random jingles and hilarious...

{family} the ford family

I am so glad the Ford family welcomed me into their home to capture who they were on an August afternoon. There were games of tag, impromptu music composition and, of course, a lot of laughter. It was simply magical to explore this family’s love and joy as they naturally interacted with each other. This...

Some advice:
When your life gets really crazy — so crazy you are literally confusing your right with your left and working way too many hours a day — the best medicine? A new pair of shoes and a bubblegum pink camera. It’s really that simple.

{class of 2011} jessica

I had loads of fun with Jessica and her deluxe session as she had her makeup done by Caylan Wagar, killed it with her fierceness + super cute basketball shoes, and as we wandered around town trying to find a field that hadn’t been cut down yet to end up in a field that literally...

Kimi and I had a fabulous time for her deluxe senior session! To all my lady seniors out there who are on the fence about doing the deluxe session, let me just say that they are by far my all-time favorite! There’s just something about going through your closet to find the perfect set of...
