welcome.

When I was ten years old, I liked to run around my Los Angeles neighborhood with a disposable camera on a wildlife photography expedition (i.e. taking pictures of cats). While I've strayed away from cat photography and disposable cameras, that adventure and excitement has never left. I'm ecstatic to say that my camera and I still go on expeditions of our own -- sometimes in my own backyard and sometimes far away.

Born and raised primarily in Los Angeles with a wonderful stint in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently pursuing a BFA in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Available for work in Southern California, Oregon and abroad.

When a group of super awesome ladies ask if you’d be up for a shoot revolving around some super fly kicks, you say yes.
And when on the day of the shoot, your computer breaks down and you are an absolute mess and have NO interest in creating digital files of any kind, you break out...

{wedding/analog} breanne + bobby

Lately I’ve been obsessed with film all over again. There is just an inexplicable excitement that comes with waiting to see a roll of film developed, a tangible magic to holding a print. These past few weeks film has been the perfect yin to my computer screen’s yang.
I couldn’t resist pulling out my Minolta X700...

You know you’re a photo nerd when you can spend hours getting lost in a new box of prints and negatives

and you own a toy underwater camera. Because…you know…Why shouldn’t you?

and you take a picture of yourself in a mirror…because you liked the wallpaper. I AM SUCH A PHOTO DORK.

{self portrait friday} 28

This self portrait friday is bittersweet.
But let’s start with the bitter part…This week my computer decided to die. Or rather, just stare at me with a grey screen like it didn’t know better. I had to send it away for service and I may or may not have buried my sorrows in a Dutch Freeze...
