Dearest McBloggers,
I’m leaving for a stint in Arizona and Los Angeles tomorrow. I might not come back.
(in reality I’ll be back in 10 days. See you then, lovelies!)
When I was ten years old, I liked to run around my Los Angeles neighborhood with a disposable camera on a wildlife photography expedition (i.e. taking pictures of cats). While I've strayed away from cat photography and disposable cameras, that adventure and excitement has never left. I'm ecstatic to say that my camera and I still go on expeditions of our own -- sometimes in my own backyard and sometimes far away.
Born and raised primarily in Los Angeles with a wonderful stint in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. I am currently pursuing a BFA in photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Available for work in Southern California, Oregon and abroad.

Dearest McBloggers,
This weekend I hope you get the chance to hold hands with someone you love.
or at least attack someone you love when they least expect it.
Happy Friday.
I secretly love L.A. traffic. Especially L.A. traffic at night. The cramped headlights, the music bumping out of the car next to you, the silent comradery of all of the drivers. So many nights of my childhood were spent half asleep in the backseat in traffic unsure if it would take five minutes or an...
To those wondering why the McBlog has been so quiet lately, I’ve spent the better part of the last few weeks in California — mainly hooping it up in my old hometown of Los Angeles. I can’t wait to show you some more images from the Golden State and catch you up on my work...
I’ll be honest with you.
The McBlog has been slow lately. I, myself, have been a little slow lately. Choosing to spend my time working on personal projects and constantly searching for new inspiration. It seems to me that winter is a hard time for a lot of creative souls…Something about the cold and the rain...
Going into 2010, I had big plans. Going into 2011, I have even bigger plans.
These are some of my favorite moments from this last year. Here’s to capturing even more.
I was lucky enough to shoot a wedding in beautiful Sisters, OR this week (more on that soon!). These are some images taken on the way back home.
Self portrait Friday turned into Self Portrait Weekend. But here’s a sneak peek on what’s going on with me and my tripod right now.
And a hint about who I might be dressing up as.
Before I lived in Corvallis, I lived in Los Angeles.
Yes, I am that person that finds smog and a concrete river kind of endearing and revels in the overwhelming amount of people and traffic. And sun in December??? And Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles? I’m not sure if anything is better than that.
L.A., it’s been too...
